Mueller-Savat

Kathleen Mueller and Jeffrey and MaryLynn Mueller of St. Louis announce the engagement of their daughter, Sara Mueller, to Dennis Allen Savat. He is the son of Dennis and Freda Savat of McClure, Ill., and Jeanne Hoffman of Leopold, Mo., and the late John Hoffman.

Mueller received a bachelor of art in communication from the University of Missouri-St. Louis in 2002, and a master of art in communication from St. Louis University in 2004. She is a communication specialist at Clayton School District in Clayton, Mo.

Savat received a bachelor of science degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Missouri-Rolla in 1997. He is project manager with Epic Systems in St. Louis.

A May 1 wedding is planned in Playa del Carmen, Mexico.
