Morris - Wayland

Sally Hale of Cape Girardeau and Mark Morris of Sikeston, Mo., announce the engagement of their daughter, Brooke Victoria Morris, to Dr. Jered Michael Wayland, both of Cape Girardeau. He is the son of Jeffrey and Janice Wayland of Youngstown, N.Y., and William and Janice Fisher of Pasadena, Md.

Morris is a 2009 graduate of Central High School. She expects to receive a bachelor of science degree in nursing from Southeast Missouri State University in December.

Wayland is a graduate of LaSalle High School in Niagara Falls, N.Y. He received a bachelor of science degree in biomedical sciences from the University of Buffalo in 2004, a doctorate from Palmer College of Chiropractic in 2008, and an advance upper cervical chiropractic degree in 2009. He is employed at Kessinger Specific Chiropractic.

A June 16 wedding is planned at Chaumette Winery in Ste. Genevieve, Mo.
