Tom and Anne Moreland of Cape Girardeau announce the engagement of their daughter, Renee DaSilva Moreland, to Aaron John Trenshaw. He is the son of John Trenshaw and Pat Knoll of Linn, Mo.

Moreland received a degree in civil engineering from Missouri University of Science and Technology in May. She is employed by Aquaterra Environmental Solutions in Columbia, Mo.

Trenshaw expects to graduate from the university in December, where he is majoring in civil and architectural engineering.
