Mize is a 2001 graduate of Jackson High School. She is an instructor at Trend Setters School of Cosmetology Inc. in Cape Girardeau.

Hale is a 1999 graduate of Jackson High School. He expects to receive a bachelor of science degree in physical education from Southeast Missouri State University in May.

A July 24 wedding is planned at First Baptist Church in Millersville.
