Mirly-Demarest

Kenny and Joann Mirly of New Wells announce the engagement of their daughter, Diane Laura Mirly, to Travis Lee Demarest, both of Cape Girardeau. He is the son of Lanny Demarest of Brookfield, Mo., and Vickie Lane of Scott City.

Mirly is a 1999 graduate of Jackson High School, and a 2003 graduate of Southeast Missouri State University. She is employed at Southeast Missouri Hospital.

Demarest is a 1994 graduate of Malden High School, and a 1999 graduate of Southeast University. He is employed by Target Corp.

An Oct. 4 wedding is planned at Immanuel Lutheran Church in New Wells.
