McQuay - Grimes

Melba Steinbach of Cape Girardeau announces the engagement of her daughter, Pamela Jean McQuay, to David Phillip Grimes, both of Cape Girardeau. He is the son of the late Alfred Grimes of Chicago, the late Laverne Grimes of Crystal Lake, Ill., and the late Marilouise Grimes of Denver, Colo. McQuay is also the daughter of the late Donald M. McQuay of Friedheim, Mo.

McQuay is a progressive cardiac care nurse at Saint Francis Medical Center.

Grimes received a master's degree in history from Southeast Missouri State University. He is a regional planner with Southeast Missouri Regional Planning Commission.

An Aug. 8 wedding is planned at Rose Bed Inn.
