McDonough received bachelor and master degrees in accounting from the University of Missouri-Columbia. She is an audit associate with PricewaterhouseCoopers in St. Louis.

Evans received a bachelor's degree in geography. He is a history and government teacher at Kingston High School in Cadet, Mo.

A Nov. 26 wedding is planned at the Shrine of St. Joseph Catholic Church in St. Louis.
