Matsuura-Record

BENTON, Mo. -- Kazuo and Yuriko Matsuura of Hiroshima, Japan, announce the engagement of their daughter, Kayo Matsuura, to Darryl Spencer Record. He is the son of Roger and Constance Record of Benton.

Matsuura received a bachelor's degree in music in Tokyo, and a master's degree in Bible exposition from Talbot Theological Seminary in Los Angeles, Calif., in 2003. She is currently preparing for international missions.

Record is a graduate of Truman University. He received a master's degree in teaching English as a second language from Azusa Pacific University in Los Angeles in 2002. He taught English as a second language at Phnom Penh University in Cambodia three years. He expects to receive a master's degree from Bible Institute University in Los Angeles in 2005.

An Oct. 16 wedding is planned in Tokyo.
