Matlock-Meyer

Gary and Patty Matlock of Gordonville announce the engagement of their daughter, April Matlock, to Charles Meyer, both of Jackson. He is the son of Linda Meyer of Brewer, Mo., and the late Robert Meyer of Frohna, Mo.

Matlock is a 2000 graduate of Jackson High School. She received a bachelor of science degree in nursing from Southeast Missouri State University in 2004. She is a registered nurse at Southeast Missouri Hospital.

Meyer is a 1999 graduate of Perryville High School in Perryville, Mo. He is employed by Hacker Plumbing, Heating and Cooling Inc.

An Oct. 1 wedding is planned at Christ Lutheran Church in Gordonville.
