Martin-Ressel

Marvin and Kathey Martin of Doniphan, Mo., announce the engagement of their daughter, Jamie Lynn Martin, to Benjamin James Ressel. He is the son of Stephen and Sandra Ressel of Cape Girardeau.

Martin is a 1999 graduate of Naylor High School in Naylor, Mo., and a 2002 graduate of Three Rivers Community College nursing program. She is a registered nurse at Auburn Surgery Center in Cape Girardeau.

Ressel is a 1995 graduate of Jackson High School, and a 2000 graduate of Columbia College. He is manager at Wells Fargo Financial in Cape Girardeau.

An Oct. 4 wedding is planned at Francine's Gardens in Cape Girardeau.
