Martin - Pletka

Frank and Pam Martin of Delta announce the engagement of their daughter, Ashley Nichole Martin, to James Steven Pletka. He is the son of Steve and Nancy Pletka of Festus, Mo.

Martin is a 2004 graduate of Delta High School. She expects to receive a bachelor of science degree in health management/exercise science from Southeast Missouri State University in May 2009. She is manager of Contours Express in Cape Girardeau.

Pletka is a 2002 graduate of Festus High School. He received a bachelor of science degree in criminal justice from Southeast in 2006. He is employed by Fronabarger Concreters Inc. in Oak Ridge.

A June 27, 2009, wedding is planned at First Baptist Church in Delta.
