Marlow-Nelson

Ritch and Valorie Marlow of Pinckneyville, Ill., announce the engagement of their daughter, Jennifer Taryn Marlow, to Brett Andrew Nelson, both of Jackson. He is the son of Larry and Cheryl Nelson of Chesterfield, Mo.

Marlow received a bachelor of science degree from Southeast Missouri State University in 2000. She is co-owner of Unique Brides.

Nelson received a bachelor of arts degree from Southeast University in 2002. He is an account executive in the advertising department at the Southeast Missourian Newspaper.

A Sept. 6 wedding is planned at First Baptist Church in Cape Girardeau.
