Marchbanks-Neels

Steve and Sue Marchbanks of Cape Girardeau announce the engagement of their daughter, Amy Joy Marchbanks, to Bradley L. Neels. He is the son of Jerry and Rhonda Neels of Cape Girardeau.

Marchbanks is a 2001 graduate of Central High School. She received a bachelor's degree in human environmental studies from Southeast Missouri State University in 2005.

Neels is a 2001 graduate of Central High School. He is pursuing a degree in criminal justice at the university. He is a sergeant with the National Guard.

A Sept. 16 wedding is planned at St. Andrew Lutheran Church.
