James Malone of Jackson and Mary Gonzales of Cape Girardeau announce the engagement of their daughter, Michelle Renee Malone of Dexter, Mo., to Darin Lee Bogenpohl of Jackson. He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Don Bogenpohl of Jackson.

Malone is a graduate of Cape Girardeau Career and Technology Center. She is a respiratory therapist at Southeast Missouri Hospital.

Bogenpohl received a degree in industrial technology from Mineral Area College at Park Hills, Mo. He is a maintenance leadman at Rubbermaid in Jackson.

A May 15 wedding is planned at Zion Lutheran Church in Pocahontas.
