Macke - Schroeppel

Gerald Lawrence Macke of Leopold, Mo., and Cheryl Macke of Poplar Bluff, Mo., announce the engagement of their daughter, Barbara Ann Macke, to Stephen Charles Schroeppel II, both of Cape Girardeau. He is the son of Steve and Darlene Schroeppel of Malden, Mo.

Macke received a bachelor of science degree in interdisciplinary studies from Southeast Missouri State University in 2007, and expects to receive a master of public administration in May from the university. She is a graduate assistant at the university.

Schroeppel received a bachelor of science degree in mathematics and a master of natural science in mathematics from the university. He is a mathematics instructor at the university.

A May 22 wedding is planned in Panama City Beach, Fla.
