Lutes - Sides

Retired Lt. Col. Jeffrey Lutes and Susan Lutes of Highland, Ill., announce the engagement of their daughter, Rebecca Elisabeth Lutes, to Brandon Mitchell Sides. He is the son of Robert and Bernadette Hill of Valles Mines, Mo., and Steven and Anna Sides of Ballwin, Mo.

Lutes is a 2007 graduate of Highland High School. She expects to receive a degree in vocal music education from Southeast Missouri State University in 2012. She is a sales associate at The Buckle.

Sides is a 2007 graduate of Herculaneum High School. He expects to receive a degree in sports management from Southeast in 2013. He is a member of 1137th Military Police Co., Army National Guard.

A June 23 wedding is planned.
