Lowes-Allen

JACKSON, Mo. -- Marilyn Lowes of Jackson announces the engagement of her daughter, Jill Lindsay Lowes, to Matthew Todd Allen, both of Corpus Christi, Texas. He is the son of Paul and Jan Allen of Columbus, Kan. Lowes is also the daughter of the late Ronald Lowes.

Lowes is a 1996 graduate of Jackson High School. She received a bachelor of science degree in public relations from Murray State University in Murray, Ky., in 2000.

Allen is a 1993 graduate of Union High School in Tulsa, Okla. He received a bachelor of science degree in international business and marketing from Oklahoma State University in 1998. He is employed with Great American Opportunities in Corpus Christi.

A Dec. 29 wedding is planned at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Jackson.
