Long-Wilson

Carrie Deanne Long and Dennis Robert Wilson announce their engagement. She is the daughter of John Long of Dunnellon, Fla., and the late Denise Long of Kansas City, Kan. Wilson is the son of Bob and Marlene Wilson of Jackson.

Long received a bachelor of science degree in interior design from Kansas State University. She is employed by BRR Architecture of Merriam, Kan.

Wilson received a bachelor's degree in architecture from the University of Kansas. He is also employed by BRR Architecture.

An Oct. 20 wedding is planned in the Grand River Chapel at William Jewell College in Liberty, Mo.
