PERRYVILLE, Mo. -- Palmer and Sandra Lohmann of Perryville announce the engagement of their daughter, Jessica Lynne Lohmann, to Tyson Paul Brown, both of Cape Girardeau. He is the son of Wayne and Susan Brown of Perryville.

Lohmann received a bachelor of science degree in mass communication from Southeast Missouri State University in May 2003.

Brown received bachelor of science degrees in manufacturing engineering technology and industrial management from Southeast University in May 2003. He is a manufacturing engineer at TG Missouri Corp.

An Oct. 4 wedding is planned at Immanuel Lutheran Church.
