Susan and Dustin Kurree of Vestavia Hills, Alabama, announce the engagement of their daughter, Collin Michelle Kurre, to Joseph Reuben Clark, son of Sally and John Clark of Kingston upon Hull, England.

Collin is the grandaughter of Jean and P.M. Kurre of Jackson and the late Muriel and Robert Rogers of Miami, Florida. Joseph is the grandson of Beryl and David Preston of Beverley, East Riding of Yorkshire and the late Winifred and Tony Clark of Scunthorpe, Lincolnshire.

Collin attended Vestavia Hills High School and is a 2012 cum laude graduate of Birmingham-Southern College, where she received a Bachelor of Arts degree in English and was a Harrison Scholar Honors student and a member of Sigma Tau Delta English Honor Society. She also holds a Master of Public Policy from Georgetown University, where she specialized in internet governance, and a Master of Development Management from the Universidad de San Martin in Argentina. She works at Internet & Jurisdiction, a think tank based in Paris.

Joseph attended Hull Collegiate School and is a 2013 graduate of University College London where he received a Bachelor of Arts degree in geography with First Class Honors. He is currently completing studies for a Master of Science degree in climate change policy from King's College London and works part time reporting on special select committees of the UK Parliament on economic affairs, energy and climate change, and international development.

The wedding will take place in the French countryside in the summer of 2018.
