Kramer-Choate

BENTON, Mo. -- Susan Kramer of Springfield, Mo., announces the engagement of her daughter, Brianne Kay Kramer, to 2nd Lt. Lucas Paul Choate. He is the son of Rick and Tenea Choate of Spokane Valley, Wash., formerly of Benton.

Kramer is a 2000 graduate of Glendale High School in Springfield. She received a bachelor of science degree in psychology from the University of Missouri-Columbia in 2004.

Choate is a 1999 graduate of Kelly High School in Benton. He received a bachelor of science degree in parks, recreation and tourism from the university in 2004. He is a logistical readiness officer with the U.S. Air Force, stationed at Travis Air Force Base, Calif.

A Sept. 18 wedding is planned at First Baptist Church in Springfield.
