Kirkpatrick-Mesenbrink

ADVANCE, Mo. -- Mr. and Mrs. Phil Garcia of Jefferson City, Mo., and Mr. and Mrs. Bob Kirkpatrick of Bowling Green, Mo., announce the engagement of their daughter, Alana Faye Kirkpatrick, to Dean Vincent Mesenbrink. He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Herman Mesenbrink of Moyie Springs, Idaho. Kirkpatrick's parents are formerly of Advance.

Kirkpatrick received a bachelor of science degree in wildlife and fisheries from the University of Missouri-Columbia in 1997. She is a park ranger with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers in Libby, Mont.

Mesenbrink is employed with the Corps of Engineers as a high voltage technician in the hydropower plant at Libby Dam.

A Sept. 11 wedding is planned at the home of Kirkpatrick's grandmother, Eglenna Davis of Advance.
