Kinder - Matthews

Jeff and Sonya Kinder of Jackson and Lori and Steve Shipley of Marble Hill, Mo., announce the engagement of their daughter, Samantha Elizabeth Kinder, to Garrett Smith Matthews. He is the son of David and Eildeana Matthews of Perryville, Mo.

Samantha is a 2012 graduate of Jackson High School. She is pursuing a degree in social work at Southeast Missouri State University.

Garrett is a 2012 graduate of Oak Ridge High School. He is pursuing an associate degree in business management at Mineral Area College in Park Hills, Mo.

A June 21 wedding is planned at Millersville Baptist Church.
