Kern-Glessner

NEW HAMBURG, Mo. -- Daniel and Deborah Kern of New Hamburg announce the engagement of their daughter, Kimberly Ann Kern, to Robert Joseph Glessner, both of St. Louis. He is the son of Michael and Wanda Glessner of Waterloo, Ill.

Kern is a 1997 graduate of Kelly High School at Benton, Mo. She received a bachelor's degree in English from Truman State University in Kirksville, Mo., in 2001, and a master's degree in art history from Washington University in St. Louis in 2003. She is an art consultant at Wentworth Gallery in St. Louis.

Glessner is a 1997 graduate of Gibault High School in Waterloo, and a 1998 graduate of the Broadcast Center in St. Louis. He is a videographer and regional director of Mr. Video Productions in St. Louis.

A Sept. 24 wedding is planned at Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Waterloo.
