Kemp is a 2007 graduate of Central High School. She is employed at Creative Compounds, LLC, in Scott City.

Marberry is a 2006 graduate of Central High School, and a 2010 graduate of Southeast Missouri State University Law Enforcement Academy. He is employed with Scott City Police Department.

A May 21, 2011, wedding is planned at Christ Episcopal Church in Cape Girardeau.
