Kedis - Ogborn

Mr. and Mrs. Larry Hamm and John G. Kedis of Huntington Beach, Calif., announce the engagement of their daughter, Kelli Lane Kedis, to William Lon Ogborn, both of Arlington, Va. He is the son of Dr. and Mrs. Billy L. Ogborn of Cape Girardeau.

Kedis received a bachelor of arts in international security and conflict resolution from San Diego State University. She expects to receive a master's degree in government and security studies from Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, Md., in December. She is a legislative liaison with Defense Advance Research Project Agency in Arlington.

Ogborn is a graduate of Central High School. He received a bachelor of arts degree in political science and a master's degree in public diplomacy from the University of Southern California. He is a consultant, currently working for the State Department and Defense Department in Islamabad, Pakistan.

A Sept. 15 wedding is planned at Twin Oaks Garden Estates in San Marcos (San Diego), Calif.
