Kaverman -- Eccardt

Don and Sue Kaverman of Cape Girardeau announce the engagement of their daughter, Amanda Marie, to Joshua Keith Eccardt of Pevely, Missouri. He is the son of Brian Eccardt of Pevely and Melissa Helms of Tucson, Arizona.

Amanda received her bachelor of science degree with a major in biology from Southeast Missouri State University. She is earning her Ph.D. in biology with an emphasis in cell and molecular regulation at Saint Louis University.

Josh graduated from Southeast Missouri State University with a bachelor of science degree in business administration with a major in finance. He works in procurement at Boeing in St. Louis.

A Sept. 24 wedding is planned in Cape Girardeau.
