Kamp-Simmons

Kurt and Patti Kamp of Patton, Mo., announce the engagement of their daughter, Erika Jo Kamp, to Eric Simmons, both of Millersville. He is the son of Ruth Simmons of Oak Ridge and David and Beverly Simmons of Cape Girardeau.

Kamp is a graduate of Meadow Heights High School at Patton. She received a bachelor's degree in animal science from Murray State University in Murray, Ky., in 2007.

Simmons is a graduate of Jackson High School. He received an associate of applied science degree from Jefferson College in Hillsboro, Mo., in 2003.

An October 2008 wedding is planned at the couple's home.
