ADVANCE, Mo. -- John and Patricia Johnson of Advance announce the engagement of their daughter, Amanda Jill Johnson, to Jeramy Shane Roberts. He is the son of Jimmy and Donna Groves of Sikeston, Mo.

Johnson received a bachelor of science degree in nursing from Southeast Missouri State University. She is a graduate nurse at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.
