Johnson- Perkins

TAMMS, Ill. -- The Rev. and Mrs. Kenneth Johnson of Tamms announce the engagement of their daughter, Amanda Gayle Johnson, to James Francis Perkins Jr. He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. James Perkins of Olive Branch, Ill.

Johnson is a 2000 graduate of Egyptian High School. She is enrolled in the massage therapy program at Shawnee Community College in Ullin, Ill.

Perkins is a 1998 graduate of Egyptian High School. He is employed at Unimin Specialty Minerals in Elco, Ill.

A Jan. 5 wedding is planned at First Baptist Church in Tamms.
