Johnson - Wormington

Rhonda and Michael Clark of Jackson and Keith Johnson of Swartz Creek, Mich., announce the engagement of their daughter, Brooke Ashley Johnson, to Joseph Eli Wormington, both of Cape Girardeau. He is the son of Marvin and Cheryl Wormington of Jackson.

Johnson received a degree in elementary education with concentration in early childhood from Southeast Missouri State University in 2010. She is a substitute teacher with Cape Girardeau School District.

Wormington is a 2002 graduate of Scott City High School. He is employed with Burlington Northern Santa Fe Railway.

A May 21 wedding is planned at Lynwood Baptist Church in Cape Girardeau.
