The engagement of Whitney Brooke Ivie to Travis Gerard Glueck has been announced by her parents, Gary and Sandy Helwege of Cape Girardeau, Randy and Denise Ulrich of Perryville, Mo., and by her daughter, Isabella. Glueck is the son of Richard and Therese Glueck of Scott City.
Ivie is a 2006 graduate of Jackson High School. She received a degree in licensed practical nursing from Cape Girardeau Career and Technology Center in 2011. She is a nurse at Olson Pediatrics in Cape Girardeau.

Glueck is a 2005 graduate of Scott City High School. He is employed by Tri-State Water and Air in Cape Girardeau.
A July 28 wedding is planned at the Water's Edge near Gordonville.
