Huxel - Hudson

Terry and Lisa Huxel of Washington, Mo., announce the engagement of their daughter, Christa Rose Huxel, to Dr. Seth Matthew Hudson. He is the son of Roger and Elizabeth Hudson of Cape Girardeau.

Christa is a 2005 graduate of St. Francis Borgia Regional High School in Washington. She received a bachelor of science degree in dietetics from Southeast Missouri State University in 2008, and a master of science degree in dietetics from Eastern Illinois University in 2011. She is a registered dietitian at Saint Francis Medical Center.

Seth is a 2003 graduate of Central High School. He received a bachelor of science degree in biological sciences and a doctorate of chiropractic from Logan College of Chiropractic in 2011. He is a chiropractic physician at The Pillar Chiropractic Physicians Centre.

A Nov. 8 wedding is planned in Washington.
