Hutteger - Steele

David and Judy Hutteger of Cape Girardeau announce the engagement of their daughter, Emily Kate Hutteger, to Brian Christopher Steele. He is the son of Dr. Jeff and Leslie Steele of Imperial, Mo., and the late Diana Steele.

Hutteger is a 2005 graduate of Central High School. She received bachelor of science degrees in recreation and business administration from Southeast Missouri State University in 2010, and a master of public administration from the university in 2012. She is operations and recreation supervisor with City of Perryville Parks and Recreation Department.

Steele is a 2004 graduate of Notre Dame Regional High School. He is internet sales manager with VanMatre Motor Co.

An Aug. 24 wedding is planned at St. Mary Cathedral in Cape Girardeau.
