Hunt - Vangilder

Mary Hunt of Millersville and Scott Hunt of Fredericktown, Mo., announce the engagement of their daughter, Kristen Lee Hunt, to Ryan Christopher VanGilder, both of Cape Girardeau. He is the son of Kevin and Theresa VanGilder and Karla VanGilder of Cape Girardeau.

Kristen received child development associate certification in 2013 through Educare in Cape Girardeau. She is an assistant preschool teacher at University School for Young Children.

Ryan received a bachelor's degree in business administration from Southeast Missouri State University in 2013. He is a buyer/purchasing analyst with Cape Electrical Supply.

A June 28 wedding is planned at Connection Point Church in Jackson.
