Hovinetz-Kaufman

John and Tina Kaufman of Cape Girardeau announce the engagement of their son, Staff Sgt. Travis Edward Kaufman, to Jamie Elaine Hovinetz. She is the daughter of David and Jennifer Hovinetz of LaGrange, Ohio.

Hovinetz is a 2002 graduate of Keystone High School and Lorain County Joint Vocational School. She is employed at Dillard's Department Store in Newport News, Va.

Kaufman is a 1999 graduate of Central High School. He is a deep sea diver with the U.S. Army, stationed at Fort Eustis in Newport News.

A sunset beach wedding is planned May 12 in Panama City Beach, Fla.
