Houchins-Kintner

Tom and Darlene Houchins of Marble Hill, Mo., announce the engagement of their daughter, Julie Ann Houchins, to Patrick Wayne Kintner, both of Jackson. He is the son of Robert and Wilma Kintner of Hallsville, Mo.

Houchins received a bachelor of science degree in learning foundations from Union University in Jackson, Tenn., in 1997, and a master of arts in education from Webster University in St. Louis in 1999. She is a second grade teacher with Jackson Public Schools at North Elementary.

Kintner received a bachelor of science degree in accounting from the University of Missouri-Columbia in 1996. He is a certified public accountant with Stanley, Dirnberger, Hopper, and Associates, LLC.

A May 15 wedding is planned at Francine's Gardens.
