Houchins - McCarty

MARBLE HILL, Mo. -- Sue Zan Houchins of Marble Hill and Jerry and Wendy Houchins of Cape Girardeau announce the engagement of their daughter, Jerrica Suzanne Houchins, to Logan Michael McCarty. He is the son of Michael and Susie Logston of Marble Hill.

Houchins is a 2005 graduate of Jackson High School. She expects to receive a bachelor of science degree in exceptional child and elementary education from Southeast Missouri State University in December.

McCarty is a 2009 graduate of Woodland High School. He is pursuing an associate's degree in automotive technology through Mineral Area College.

A Jan. 2, 2010, wedding is planned at Cottage of Grace Baptist Church.
