Stan and Diane Blankenship of Millersville announce the engagement of their daughter, Nicole Renee Hobeck, to Scott Robert VanGennip, both of Jackson. He is the son of Jim VanGennip of Advance, Mo., and Shirley Dean VanGennip of Jackson. Hobeck is also the daughter of the late Bobby Miller.
Hobeck is a 1998 graduate of Jackson High School.
