Hicks-Wright

ORAN, Mo. -- MaKenna Rhae Hicks and James Kenyon Wright announce their engagement. She is the daughter of Derry and Kay Hicks of Bloomfield, Mo. Wright is the son of Randy and Belinda Wright of Tiline, Ky., and Kim and Cheryl Walters of Oran.

Hicks is a 2004 graduate of Bloomfield High School, and received an associate of arts degree in pre-medicine from Three Rivers Community College in 2005. She is enrolled in the nursing program at Southeast Missouri State University.

Wright is a 2003 graduate of Bell City High School, and received an associate of arts degree in secondary education from Three Rivers. He expects to receive a bachelor of science degree in education from Southeast in 2007.

An Aug. 5 wedding is planned at Living Water Worship Center in Bloomfield.
