Hency - Snell

BENTON, Mo. -- Greg and Carolyn Hency of Benton announce the engagement of their daughter, Valerie Nicole Hency, to Kelly K. Snell, both of Cape Girardeau. He is the son of Rodger and Tina Snell of Egypt Mills, and Cindy and Danny Kerber of Cape Girardeau.

Hency received a high school diploma from James Madison High School in 2003. She is a cashier at Bi-State Oil Co.

Snell is a 2003 graduate of Central High School. He is a crew chief with Richards Land Surveying.

A Sept. 27 wedding is planned at St. Augustine Catholic Church in Kelso, Mo.
