Hemmann-Miesner

David and Cathy Hemmann of Jackson announce the engagement of their daughter, Katie Louise Hemmann, to Chad Michael Miesner. He is the son of Rick and Elaine Miesner of Frohna, Mo.

Hemmann is a 2003 graduate of Oak Ridge High School. She is a 2005 graduate of Mineral Area College, and expects to receive a bachelor of science degree in criminal justice from Southeast Missouri State University in May 2008. She is employed at Saint Francis Medical Center.

Miesner is a 2001 graduate of Perryville High School in Perryville, Mo. He is employed by Altenburg Hardwoods and Miesner Farms.

A Feb. 16, 2008, wedding is planned at St. John's Lutheran Church in Pocahontas.
