Hausafus-Essner

KELSO, Mo. -- Walter and Sharon Hausafus of Dow, Ill., announce the engagement of their daughter, Sarah Nicole Hausafus, to Scott Joseph Essner, both of St. Louis. He is the son of Jerome and Beverly Essner of Kelso.

Hausafus is a 1997 graduate of Jersey Community High School in Jerseyville, Ill., and received a doctor of pharmacy degree in 2003 from St. Louis College of Pharmacy. She is a staff pharmacist with Schnucks Markets in Cahokia, Ill.

Essner is a 1998 graduate of Notre Dame Regional High school, and received a degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Missouri-Rolla in 2003. He is an engineer with LaBarge Products Inc. in St. Louis.

An Oct. 9 wedding is planned at Holy Ghost Catholic Church in Jerseyville.
