Harris - hinkle

Kevin and Catherine Harris of Cape Girardeau announce the engagement of their daughter, Cassidy Marie Harris, to Matthew Alan Hinkle. He is the son of Scott and Brenda Hinkle of Cape Girardeau.

Harris is a 2006 graduate of Central High School. She received a bachelor of science degree in education from Southeast Missouri State University in 2011, and is pursuing a master's degree in special education at Arkansas State University. She is a special education teacher at Jackson High School.

Hinkle is a 2005 graduate of Central High School, and received EMT certification from Cape Girardeau Career and Technology Center. He is employed at SoutheastHEALTH, and with Gordonville Fire Protection District.

An Aug. 17 wedding is planned at St. Andrew Lutheran Church.
