Hanneken - Lockhart

THEBES, Ill. -- Jill Benefield of Thebes and Rich Hanneken of St. Peters, Mo., announce the engagement of their daughter, Sarah Ann Hanneken, to Thomas James Lockhart, both of St. Louis. He is the son of Tom and Rebecca Lockhart of Sidney, Iowa.

Hanneken is a 2001 graduate of Shawnee High School in Wolf Lake, Ill. She received a bachelor of science in nursing from Southeast Missouri State University in 2005. She is a registered nurse in the Post Anesthesia Care Unit at Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis.

Lockhart is a 1998 graduate of Sidney High School. He received a bachelor of science in health administration and policy from Creighton University in Omaha, Neb., in 2002. He received a doctor of medicine from the University of Iowa Carver College of Medicine in 2007, and completed his anesthesia residency and fellowship at Washington University in St. Louis. He is employed by Washington University as an instructor of pediatric anesthesiology at Children's Hospital in St. Louis.

A July 19 wedding is planned at Old Cathedral Basilica of St. Louis.
