Hamlett - Farhadi

Julie Elizabeth Hamlett and Barkiaroq Farhadi announce their engagement. She is the daughter of Marvin and Linda Shirrell of Cape Girardeau. He is the son of Hussein and Mahjabin Farhadi of Tehran, Iran.

Hamlett is a 1991 graduate of Central High School, and attended Southeast Missouri State University. She is manager at Tilt.

Farhadi received a bachelor of science degree from Fergusson College in Pune, India, and a master's degree in marketing from the University of Pune (PUMBA). He is a gemologist.

A fall wedding is planned in Cape Girardeau.
