Gurley - James

Jeff and Rosemary Gurley of Ste. Genevieve, Missouri, announce the engagement of their daughter, Jessica Loraine Gurley of Jackson, to Ashton John James. He is the son of Dennis and Karen James of Leopold, Missouri.

Jessica is a 2002 graduate of Ste. Genevieve High School, and a 2006 graduate of the University of Missouri-Columbia. She is a staffing manager at TalentForce in Cape Girardeau.

Ashton is a 2001 graduate of Leopold High School, and a 2005 graduate of UMC. He is a driver with Seay Oil in Cape Girardeau.

An Oct. 25 wedding is planned at St. John's Catholic Church in Leopold.
