Lonnie Grigaitis of Omaha, Neb., and Sarah Grigaitis of Sikeston, Mo., announce the engagement of their daughter, Abigail Grigaitis, to Andrew Fornkahl, both of Cape Girardeau. He is the son of Ronald and Glenda Fornkahl of Cape Girardeau.

Grigaitis is a nanny, and is studying to become a physical therapist assistant.

Fornkahl attended Southeast Missouri State University Law Enforcement Academy. He is a jailer with Perry County Sheriff's Department.

A November wedding is planned in Cape Girardeau.
