Goodson - Dierkes

Michael Goodson and Lisa Goodson, both of Jackson, announce the engagement of their daughter, Claire Elizabeth Goodson, to Benjamin John Dierkes, both of Columbia, Missouri. He is the son of Robert (Linda) Dierkes of Jefferson City, Missouri and the late Mary Dierkes.

Claire is a 2007 graduate of Notre Dame Regional High School. She received a Bachelor of Science degree in nutrition and fitness from the University of Missouri-Columbia in 2012. She also received a Bachelor of Science degree in communication disorders in 2015 and a Master of Arts degree in communication disorders in 2017, both from Southeast Missouri State University. She is a pediatric speech-language pathologist at The Speech and Language Center in Columbia.

Ben is a 2008 graduate of Hickman High School in Columbia. He received a Bachelor of Science degree in finance in 2012 from Avila University in Kansas City, Missouri. He is an Associate Wealth Advisor with Wilkerson & Reynolds Wealth Management in Columbia.

A May 5 wedding is planned at Immaculate Conception Church in Jackson.
