Gerlach - Holzum

Dave and Lisa Gerlach and Jerrie and John Heisserer of Cape Girardeau announce the engagement of their daughter, Erin Randol Gerlach, to Brandon Wilson Holzum, both of St. Louis. He is the son of Jeff and Mary Holzum of Cape Girardeau.

Erin is a 2008 graduate of Central High School. She received a bachelor's degree in hospitality management with emphasis in event planning from the University of Missouri in 2012. She is employed at St. Louis Children's Hospital.

Brandon is a 2006 graduate of Notre Dame Regional High School. He received a master's degree in accounting from the University of Missouri in 2011. He is employed by Emerson Electric in St. Louis.

An Oct. 18 wedding is planned at Centenary United Methodist Church.
